At King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to relax, connect and recharge in nature.
Set across 196 acres in the Otways, our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of age, background or ability.
We understand that every guest has different needs. We are continually working to improve accessibility, provide clear information and help guests make informed decisions when planning their stay.
Accessible Accommodation
Mannagum Cottage is our only step-free accommodation option. Its features include:
- Step-free entry.
- Wider doorways.
- Bathroom grab rails.
- Open-plan kitchen and living areas.
- Level parking immediately outside the cottage.
Mannagum is most suitable for guests who can transfer independently or who are travelling with someone able to assist them.
As individual requirements vary, we encourage you to contact us before booking so we can discuss whether Mannagum will meet your needs. Additional photographs and available measurements can be provided on request.
Our other cottages and accommodation buildings contain steps, split levels or terrain barriers and may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Access Around the Property
King Parrot is a steep rural property. Many outdoor routes include gravel, grass, slopes, loose rocks and uneven natural surfaces.
Access to the swimming pool, Games Room, sauna, massage room, campground, walking tracks and event areas varies. Some facilities require guests to navigate steps or difficult terrain.
Assistance animals are welcome. Advance contact is appreciated so we can discuss safe routes around livestock and wildlife and any practical arrangements you may require.
